In 1931 Miklós Komlós and István Komlós founded a small Ceramic Werstatte / Workshop in Nyíregyháza.

Komlós designed and produced Ceramic sculptures and soon became well-known in the whole country (Hungary).

Komlós choose their topics from humorous scenes of civil and peasant life.
Elegant gentlemen, ladies, Afro-American musicians, animals and child figures were produced.

Komlós Ceramics are very well designed and have bright, fresh colours.
